Reddit service update · October 20, 2026

Reddit is temporarily unavailable

Since October 19, 2026, Reddit has been refusing requests from Moosen across all customers. Reddit publishing, messages, comments, analytics updates, and new account connections are unavailable while the block lasts.

Leave your existing Reddit accounts connected. Your connections and previously synced data stay in Moosen.

While the block lasts

Reddit posts won’t publish

Scheduled Reddit posts fail with a “Reddit is temporarily unavailable” error. Other platforms in the same post still publish as normal.

Messages, comments, and analytics stop updating

Everything already synced stays in your dashboard. New Reddit messages, comments, and analytics won’t update while access is blocked.

New Reddit connections are unavailable

Your existing Reddit accounts stay connected. Leave them connected so there’s nothing to reconnect if access returns.

Reddit Ads is unaffected

The block affects Reddit’s social integration. Reddit Ads uses separate access and is not affected.

What we know

On September 30, Reddit announced changes to its public API. New requests for public API access close on October 31, 2026, and remaining public access is scheduled to end in March 2027. Reddit hasn’t confirmed whether Moosen’s October 19 block is part of that change.

Your accounts and posts

Should I disconnect or reconnect my Reddit account?

No. Leave your Reddit accounts connected as they are. Your existing connections and previously synced data stay in Moosen.

Will my posts to other platforms still publish?

Yes. Other platforms in the same post still publish as normal. The Reddit destination fails while the block lasts.

What happens if Reddit restores access?

If Reddit lifts the block, we’ll switch Reddit back on and let you know. You can then retry failed Reddit posts from your dashboard. We don’t have a date for access to return.
